Daddy's Home!

The kiddos and I just spent 10 days by ourselves while Daddy went hunting in Colorado, and to say we missed him was an understatement!  Cam is one of those dads that is hands-on... he is always on the floor playing or wrestling with the kids, he's always involved in meals/bedtime routine, and they adore him... so 10 days is a LONG time to be without him!  I always say that when he travels, it makes me so thankful for those families that sacrifice their loved ones for our country.  10 days seemed like forever to me, so I can hardly imagine months/years!  We picked Cam up from the airport on Saturday night, and Lily Kate was BESIDE herself!  She had bought her Daddy a bouquet of flowers earlier in the week, and she had them right there with her while she waited for him in the airport!  Watching her excitement to see him was just precious... and Sterling nearly jumped out of my arms trying to get to him too!  We are so thankful to have him home safe and sound, and praise the Lord for our family!
