On Easter Sunday, we had an awesome church service and an amazing reminder of what and Awesome God we serve! After church, we all went back to our house and Lily Kate got to see what the Easter Bunny had brought to Nini and Pop's house too! :-) She was in hogs heaven as she saw all of the toys and clothes she got. She also got charms for her bracelett, a stool for her bathroom with her name on it, a pretty doll with long blonde hair, and she even got a big girl purse to carry around with her goodies in it! That's just the beginning! Once all of the baskets were rummaged through, we cooked a fantastic Easter meal... fried chicken, deviled eggs, potatoes, biscuits... so much food! Despite our desire for a long nap, Lily Kate woke up from her nap ready to play, so we went to her favorite place... the PARK! We had a blast swinging, sliding, and playing in the sand box. We finished up the afternoon with a trip to Goodberry's for some ice cream!
That night, we went over to the Bryant's house to celebrate Easter with Daddy's side of the family! Lily Kate loves to play with her second cousins, Georgia Mae, Logan, and Moses! She pushed Georgia's double baby stroller around the whole house! What a fun night it was with the Goldston family!
We couldn't make it through Easter without realizing how extremely BLESSED we are! We have an AWESOME GOD, and amazing family, and the most precious baby girl a parent could pray for!
