Lily Kate had a wonderful and fun-filled Easter weekend this year! We went to the Bay Leaf Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning. This is such an awesome outreach that our church puts on. There was tons of food, lots of big blow-up slides/bouncies, swing-sets to play on, and we even won an awesome basket full of Easter goodies. The church collects thousands of eggs to put on multiple hunts for all of the children that come. Lily Kate hunted with her age group, and we ended up with a handfull of eggs in our basket this time! She was still more concerned with the candy inside than she was with the number she collected! Her Daddy helped her find some too! She played with Eli on the swing-set and she walked around waving at anyone who would look!
On Sunday morning, we woke up early to see what the Easter bunny brought! Lily Kate's facial expression was priceless as she walked into the room and saw her basket! She was so EXCITED! She immediately gravitated toward the multiple pairs of shoes that were at the front of her basket, and she tried to hold them all at once! She loved everything and she spread all of it out on the floor around her.... her favorite toy was probably her toy mop! She loves to help Mommy clean! After we saw everything that was in her basket, we got ready for church!
