Lily Kate and Mommy had the chance to take a trip to Florida with Nini last week! She was going on business and unfortunately, she was going to be in meetings most of the time. Nini thought it was ashame to miss out on the beautiful Pink Shell Resort, so she invited us along for a free trip to FL! Of course, Lily Kate and I couldn't pass it up! :-) We left on Monday, May 2 and headed south! Lily Kate had the best time in the car... I think it's a good thing we have traveled with her since she was a little baby! She lays back, watches movies, eats snacks, and plays with her toys! Of course, car rides always make for a good nap time too! We arrived in Tampa on Monday night, and we finished the rest of the trip to Ft. Myers on Tuesday morning. The Pink Shell Resort was amazing! There were two pools, both of which were extremely kid friendly. Lily Kate loved the pool with the palm trees that dumped water, mushrooms that shot water out, and huge fountains that sprayed overhead! Our suite overlooked the gorgeous ocean and every time Lily Kate looked out the living room window, she yelled "WaWa"! She had the best time walking on the beach and playing in the ocean. She even found a starfish and picked it right up! What an amazing trip to take with her at such a fun age! Thank you Nini for letting us tag along!
