Our family always looks forward to our yearly week at HHI. Its a nice time to relax and get away from it all... just spend time together. This year was no different. It was Sterling's first time at the beach, and Lily Kate was super excited about going. Sterling had just started to crawl the week before, so he spent the week learning how to maneuver around really well! Lily Kate had spent most of the summer taking swim lessons, so she was really excited to go swimming in the ocean. She loved going out there with her daddy and jumping the waves! The night we got there, we walked out to the beach and sat Sterling down in the sand for the first time. He grabbed a big handful of it and shoved it in his mouth. The look on his face was priceless.... but he must not have minded the taste too bad, because he kept trying to eat as much of it as he could! We spent much of the week relaxing on the beach or by the pool. We had beautiful weather and really enjoyed not having anywhere we HAD to be! We took so many great pictures, I'm going to split them between two posts.... so here's the first part!
