Our little ballerina finished her second year of dance in June! She had her recital on Saturday, June 8th at Wakefield High School! She was so excited to get up on stage and dance, but we weren't sure how she would actually do once she got up there! Last year, mommy was on stage dancing too, so this was her first year dancing by herself with her class! We dropped her off back stage with the other girls, and she didn't seem the least bit nervous! It seemed a bit surreal that our little girl was old enough for us to watch her dance on stage by herself! Lily Kate's class were the third group to dance, and boy, did she do GREAT! She was all smiles when they walked on stage, and she danced her little heart out! I wish we had pictures of her in action, but they won't let you do flash photography in the auditorium... probably because they want you to buy the expensive video (which of course we did!) When we saw Lily Kate after her dance, she was SO PROUD of herself and we were so proud of her! I think we may have found a hobby that our sweet one truly loves!
