Lily Kate got to celebrate her first Valentine's Day with her Mommy and Daddy this weekend! The weekend started out with a trip to Nini and Pops house on Saturday night so that Mommy and Daddy could have a Valentine's date night! The date night was wonderful and Lily Kate didn't miss us a bit, I'm sure! On Sunday we went to church and of course Lily Kate had to wear her Valentine's duds! That night Nini and Pops came over and we had a Valentine's / Birthday dinner for Mommy, and Daddy cooked a delicious meal! Mommy and Daddy gave Lily Kate her first Berenstain Bear book (her Mommy's favorite!) and an outfit for Valentine's. Of course Nini and Pops had some Valentine's treats of their own. They gave a her a talking bear that says "I love you" and other fun phrases when you talk to it! Lily Kate would just smile and coo at that bear for the longest time... it was soooo cute! Nini bought her a beautiful heart charm to put on her charm bracelet that she started for her before she was born, and Pops also found the need to give her a pink NC State outfit (much to Mommy and Daddy's dismay). The weekend was a treat for sure and her Mommy was thrilled that she got to spend Valentine's Day and her 25th birthday with her special Valentine Lily Kate!
