Life is hectic, and crazy at best, but oh what a joy it is to hear someone call you "mommy" or "daddy". This is just an account of our daily happenings in this crazy thing we call life. No matter what happens in our day, it's always fun to "kidd" around!

Easter 2013

We had such a blessed Easter with our family this year!  I know I say that every year is my favorite, but holidays just get better and better when you have children to celebrate them with!  We hung close to home and celebrated Easter by going to church and spending time with family!  Lily Kate and Sterling had a great time seeing what the bunny brought in their baskets, and it is always a blessing to go to church and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord!  So thankful that He loved us that much!

Lily Kate was so excited about her class Easter egg hunt!  They had the cutest hats on and had made baskets out of milk jugs!  She got on the playground and it was hilarious to watch her... she would pick up an egg, shake it, and throw it back if it didn't make a noise!  She said only the ones that made noise had good candy in them!

This year was so much fun to watch Lily Kate take the stuff out of her basket... she really got into it!  She took her time and looked at each thing that was in there and she seemed super excited about all of it!

Being the amazing big sister that she is, Lily Kate helped Sterling open his basket too!

Sterling gets super excited when his big sister wants to hold him!

Makes me cry to look at this picture.  I have a picture of Lily Kate from every Easter since she was born.... she looks so big here!  I want time to slow down so I can keep my baby just like she is right this very minute!

Family photo op outside of church.

Daddy and Sterling.... had to get a boys picture!

Daddy and his little bits.... both of them adore their Daddy to pieces!

My heart right here.... could not be more blessed.  Being their Mommy is the most precious gift the Lord could've ever given me!

Pop and Uncle Chris were telling Sterling all about the world news on Easter afternoon!

Yummmmmmmy Easter dinner!

We wanted to make sure that Lily Kate and Sterling always understand the real meaning of Easter, so we read the Easter story out of Lily Kate's Bible, and we made Resurrection Rolls to celebrate that Jesus is Risen!  Lily Kate loves reading her Bible and it is such a precious thing as a parent to hear your child tell you about Jesus dying for your sins.... doesn't get much better than that!

We made it to the mall the day before Easter so we could grab a picture with the bunny, of course!

That bunny is a good guy!  He left a basket for both of my loves!
