Bear with me, because I'm super behind on posts.... so I'm going to try to catch up! Lets start with Halloween! It is so much more fun to experience holidays as a parent, and Halloween was no exception! Lily Kate insisted on being a pirate this year. We watch a show on Disney called "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" and she had pirates on the brain! I found a pirate dress and she was so super excited to wear it! We went to the church Fall Festival the Sunday before Halloween and she got to dress up in her pirate costume. She practiced her "AAAARGH" and she was ready to go! The Fall Festival is always a ton of fun! Great fellowship, blow ups for the kids, games, and of course food! Lily Kate loved the giant blow up slide, and she enjoyed playing games like the bean bag toss and the fishing game! On Halloween night, we went to our new house (we hadn't moved in yet) and trick-or-treated in our new neighborhood! It was so much fun.... there were families EVERYWHERE and it was a great chance to meet our new neighbors! Lily Kate said "AAAARGH MATEY" at every door that she knocked on, and everyone got a kick out of it! Sterling was only 3 weeks old, so we just dressed him in a pumpkin onesie, bundled him up good, and let him ride along in the stroller! This year was by far the most fun Halloween yet! Lily Kate was so in to it... I hope it keeps getting better and better!
