We've always known that Lily Kate like boys a little bit better than girls, but we never knew how much until we spent a weekend at Lake Gaston with her UNCLES! One of Daddy's best friends "Uncle Blake" and his wife Kathryn Lee moved from Mississippi to Virginia! We were so excited that they were finally going to be close by again, the boys planned a weekend at the Barker's lake house to celebrate! Uncle Blake and Uncle Will are Lily Kate's Godfather's. Daddy couldn't decide between his two best friends, so he chose both of them! :-) Lily Kate was so excited that she got to spend the weekend with Uncle Blake, Uncle Will, and their wives! We also got to spend time with John and Mr. and Mrs. Barker too! Of course, our not so shy little girl was eating up all of the attention from her uncles! She got their undivided attention for 3 days, and we aren't sure life will ever quite return to normal! Lily Kate got to go tubing with daddy for the first time, and she had a blast swimming in the lake with everyone! I think the highlight of her weekend though was feeding the fish at the marina! They were HUGE! We are so thankful that the Lord has blessed us with such wonderful friends that have truly become our family! Lily Kate is doomed when it comes to dating though.... no boy will ever quite make the cut where her Daddy, Uncle Will, and Uncle Blake are concerned!
