Easter Sunday 2012 was so much fun with our "big girl" keeping us laughing! Lily Kate was so excited about Easter! She knew the real reason we celebrate Easter (because "Jesus is alive" as she says), and she was also super excited about the Easter Bunny coming by for a visit and leaving a basket of goodies! She even sat in his lap this year at the mall! We got up Easter morning and Lily Kate eagerly explored what the Easter Bunny has brought! Much to our dismay, her favorite things in her basket were her big girl panties and her new Jack Rogers! She isn't hard to please! Ha! She quickly stripped her pj's off to put on her new panties and shoes! We went to the 11:00 church service and Lily Kate made sure she told everyone about the angel rolling the rock away! After church, Nini and Pop and Uncle Chris and Sharen came over for Easter lunch! Lily Kate had a ball playing outside on her swing set, blowing bubbles, and enjoying the beautiful day that we were blessed with! The Easter Bunny had even made a visit to Nini and Pop's house, so Lily Kate got to open yet another basket that afternoon! It was such a wonderful afternoon of family, friends, and fun!
